What is the MOQ?

Standard ISO inserts and end mills start at MOQ 10 pcs. We accept small trial orders so you can validate product quality in your market before committing to larger volumes. Volume pricing tiers apply as quantities grow.

What are your lead times?

Standard inserts and end mills typically ship in 3-7 days. Custom tooling (non-standard grades, geometries, private label) takes 15-30 days depending on quantity and complexity. Lead times are confirmed at quotation.

What payment terms do you offer?

Standard trade terms apply — T/T is the baseline, with other options (L/C, PayPal for samples) discussed per order. Terms are confirmed at quotation.

What are your shipping options?

Express, air and sea freight depending on order size and destination. We consolidate shipments for mixed orders and confirm delivery windows at quotation.

Do you offer samples before bulk orders?

Yes. Samples are available for most standard products before mass production, so you can verify insert quality, dimensional accuracy and tool life in your own shop first.

Can I get volume pricing for large projects?

Yes — the larger the quantity, the better the per-unit price. Send your projected volume and we will quote tiered pricing for your project.

OEM / ODM

Can you do OEM / ODM with my own brand?

Yes. OEM/ODM is core to our business — private-label packaging, custom grades, laser marking and non-standard insert designs are all available. Samples are provided before mass production.

What is the difference between OEM and ODM?

OEM means we manufacture your branded version of an existing standard product line. ODM means we develop a custom product — special grade, geometry or holder design — to your specification and drawings.

Can you make non-standard insert designs?

Yes. We support custom insert shapes, special chip breakers and non-standard grades per your drawings and application data. Custom tooling typically ships in 15-30 days.

What documentation do you provide for compliance?

Batch inspection reports, dimensional certificates and material documentation are provided with your order, plus datasheets and any market-specific documentation you need for import.

Can you help with packaging design?

Yes. We offer retail-ready packaging with your branding, including box design, labels and user manuals in your language.

Grades & Selection

How do I choose the right insert grade?

Match the grade to the workpiece material and operation: CVD-coated grades for steel and cast iron roughing, PVD-coated for stainless steel and finishing, uncoated carbide for aluminum and non-ferrous. Send us your material, operation and parameters and we will recommend the grade.

What is the difference between PVD and CVD coating?

PVD (physical vapor deposition) produces thin, sharp coatings — best for sharp edges, stainless steel and finishing cuts where edge sharpness matters. CVD (chemical vapor deposition) produces thicker, wear-resistant coatings — best for steel roughing at high cutting speeds.

What does the ISO insert code mean?

ISO 1832 designates inserts by a code: shape letter (C=80° diamond, D=55° diamond, V=35° diamond, T=triangle, S=square, W=trigon), clearance angle, tolerance class, chip breaker, then size, thickness and nose radius. For example CNMG120408: 12.7mm inscribed circle, 4.76mm thickness, 0.8mm nose radius.

Can you help with cutting parameter recommendations?

Yes. Send us your workpiece material, operation (turning/milling/drilling), machine rigidity and current parameters — we will provide a recommended grade, geometry, speed and feed for your application.

How do I identify the insert I currently use?

Read the ISO code printed on the insert or measure the inscribed circle, thickness and nose radius with a caliper, then compare to the ISO 1832 designation system. Our team can also identify it from photos and dimensions.

Quality & Support

How do you guarantee quality?

Every batch passes dimensional inspection (ISO 1832 compliance), hardness checks and performance testing before shipment. Inspection reports can be shared on request.

Do you provide technical support for machine shops?

Yes. Our engineers help with grade selection, cutting parameter optimization and troubleshooting tool wear, chipping or surface finish issues. Support is included with every order.

Can you share test reports or case studies?

Yes. We can share batch inspection reports and real cutting test data from production runs, so you can evaluate tool life and performance before you commit.

What happens if a tool fails prematurely?

Send us the failed tool, your parameters and workpiece details. We will analyze the failure mode (wear, chipping, breakage, built-up edge) and either adjust the grade recommendation or provide a replacement for confirmed quality issues.
